Delivery in Australia
Same day delivery within Australia from Monday to Friday is possible as long as the order is placed before 1pm in the recipient’s time zone. A specific time delivery can be requested however cannot be guaranteed unless prior arrangements have been made with one of our staff. Every effort will be made to fulfil your request.
Delivery within Australia and the rest of the world is not guaranteed on Public Holidays, Saturday after midday or Sundays.
All business deliveries will arrive by 5pm on the same day.
Residential deliveries are guaranteed to be delivered by 7.00pm
Same day delivery within Australia on Saturdays is possible as long as the order is placed before 10.00am in the recipient’s time zone. Unless specified otherwise on special occasions, we do not deliver on a Sunday.

Delivery for Funeral Orders
Leppington Florist treat funeral orders with the highest of priority. In order to see the order processed as smoothly as possible please supply the following information in the Address Details or Special Instructions:
- Full name of the deceased
- Name and address of the funeral home and name and phone number of a relative will be needed.
- Date and time of the funeral
Delivery to Hospitals/Nursing Homes
For hospital/nursing home deliveries, please supply Leppington Florist with the recipient’s:
- Full name
- Ward name or number
- Hospital name and address
- Whether the recipient is a patient/resident or part of the staff
For hospital and nursing home deliveries, Leppington Florist recommends sending flowers and gifts that are already arranged in a container.
Please note:
- Do not send loose cut flowers as there are usually limited suitable vases available
- Do not send large arrangements as space is often restricted
- Most hospitals do not allow plants
- Some hospitals do not allow flowers in intensive care or other special care units
Delivery to Hotels & Holiday Resorts
For deliveries to Hotels & Resorts, please supply Leppington Florist with the recipient’s: Hotel or Resort name Room name or number and address Whether the recipient is a guest or part of the staff
Delivery on Sunday or Public Holidays
Please be aware that Leppington Florist cannot guarantee delivery on Sunday or Public Holidays, as most florist shops and couriers are closed. Should you select a Sunday or public holiday delivery, your order will automatically be delivered on the next business day.
Should you require a delivery on one of these day, please contact the store prior to placing your order. If possible, then an additional delivery costs will apply.
MOTHER’S DAY DELIVERY – Sunday
All Mother’s day orders placed prior to 10 am on Saturday before Mother’s Day will be delivered that Sunday by 7pm.
Due to the large volume of orders placed for delivery for Mother’s Day, Leppington Florist reserves the right to make substitutions to the requested arrangement style in order to ensure that your order is delivered, particularly for orders placed after 10.00am on Saturday. All substitutions will be made with appropriate products to the same value or greater value than the original order.
As of 11:59pm (AEST) on the Friday prior, Leppington Florist is unable to effect variations to orders for delivery for Mother’s Day, Saturday and Sunday. These variations include changes to delivery addresses, changes to card messages, changes to the originally requested product and changes to the recipient’s name.
As of 11:59pm (AEST) on the Friday prior, Leppington Florist is unable to accept cancellations to orders for delivery for Mother’s Day, Saturday and Sunday.
In situations where a recipient is not at home to accept your gift, our couriers will leave the item in a secure location if available at the delivery address.
Where a secure location cannot be identified, our couriers will leave a “not at home” card in the letterbox of the delivery address advising your recipient to contact the delivering florist and the item will be returned to that florist.
In this instance, Leppington Florist is unable to guarantee that a re-delivery will be able to be made over the Mother’s Day weekend.
Accurate delivery details assist our florists and couriers to have your order delivered for Mother’s Day. Please ensure that you check your order confirmation email to ensure that the name and address details entered into your order are complete and correct.
Leppington Florist is unable to guarantee specific timed deliveries for Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Requests for specific delivery times will be noted and every attempt will be made to meet these requests however we are unable to guarantee these requests.
Deliveries on both Saturday and Sunday will occur between 8.00am and 7.00pm.
Incorrect Delivery Address
Leppington Florist is not responsible if an incorrect delivery address is supplied. Please be sure you provide all the correct details at time of ordering. Any additional delivery instructions are useful for our couriers so please add them to the notes upon check-out. An extra delivery cost will be charged if provided an incorrect delivery address.
If the Recipient is not Home
We suggest that you check that someone will be available to accept the delivery at the address supplied, prior to ordering. If no one is there to accept the delivery, then the driver will place the gift at the front door in a safe place. If it doesn’t seem safe to do so then the driver will take the flowers back and try return later that day, this however will incur an extra delivery charge.
Gifts with Alcohol and Liquor
Leppington Florist sell flower arrangements and hampers that may contain alcohol as part of the gift. It forms part of a gift only and may not be sold separately. A maximum of 2 litres in accordance to the Liquor Control Act 1998. We do not sell or supply alcohol to, or on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years. Gifts which include alcohol cannot be delivered to the customer/purchaser, nor can it be delivered or accepted by a minor. Nor left at the premises without being accepted by an adult.
Overseas, Interstate and Rural Deliveries
Leppington Florist networks with quality florists throughout Australia and overseas to get your order delivered. Some areas overseas or remote rural areas in Australia, may be classified as restricted areas by the couriers. Deliveries to these locations may take up to 48 hours and may incur an additional delivery charge. If unsure, please contact the store to confirm 02 9606 6623.
